E-mail Tutorial - Pine / Telnet

Pine is a UNIX mail program you use by logging in to CUNIX via a telnet program such as Better Telnet for the Macintosh or Tera Term for Windows. It does not have the familiar graphic interface of Mac and Windows software. It is inconvenient to send and receive Mac and Windows File attachments since it is NOT running on your Computer. It is fast, and useful for people working on CUNIX

The main features of Pine are clearly shown by menus at the bottom of each page. Use the help command for explanations. On some screens you should highlight the choice you are interested in to see help for that choice.
